How does it work?
We work closely with your GP and colleagues in the NHS to deliver excellent care. Once you register, we receive your prescriptions via the NHS Electronic Prescription Service (EPS).
Simply order as normal with your GP, or with us, and your medication will arrive in the post the day after the prescription is received.
We’ll also include your Live Well With Diabetes welcome pack in the first delivery.

Frequently asked questions
Your GP surgery will send us your prescription electronically using the NHS Electronic Prescription Service, so we can quickly dispense it and post it to you.
No problem – we can release any urgent prescriptions to a local pharmacy for you to collect on the same day.
You can get your medication delivered to your home address, or an alternative one such as your workplace. Simply let us know when you order.
Once we’ve received your prescription from your GP, we post out your medication for free next-day delivery via Royal Mail. If your order is via a paper-based prescription, this may take a little longer.
Although we are a diabetes-focused pharmacy, we dispense all types of medication so can fulfil any prescription.
You can order your prescription from your GP as normal – we will receive it and deliver it for free. You can also request us to order it for you.
We will include your welcome pack with your first medication delivery.
Yes, we deliver chilled items such as insulin for free. We use special multi-award-winning insulated packaging that exceeds guidelines. The packaging uses sustainable, compostable, recyclable or recycled materials.
*A maximum of 1 x free 56g tube of Flexitol heel balm with foot care guide, 2 x 50g pack of Lift Glucose Chews, 2 x 25g tubes of Glucogel and 1 carry bag are included per patient. The items included in the Live Well With Diabetes welcome packs are intended as auxiliary aids for managing Type 1 Diabetes & to help promote healthy living, and will be included with the first prescription delivery. To be eligible for the welcome pack, patients must have a diagnosis of Type 1 diabetes, be on an NHS repeat prescription including medication for diabetes. and be registered as an NHS prescription home delivery patient with Spirit Pharmacy.
