If you live in England and your GP surgery offers the NHS Electronic Prescription Service, then you can nominate Spirit Pharmacy as your preferred pharmacy for dispensing your prescriptions. Your GP surgery will send us your prescription electronically so we can quickly dispense it and post it to you. EPS is flexible so you can change or cancel your nominated pharmacy at any time.

We recommend placing your order seven days before you need your medication – don’t worry, we will remind you to do this! This allows plenty of time for your GP to authorise and electronically send us your prescription, for us to dispense and post your medication and for you to take delivery of it.

If you live in England, we deliver your NHS prescriptions for free. Your medication will be delivered by a courier in plain, discreet packaging using a next-day service. We aim to dispense your prescription and post medicines on the same day it is received from your GP. However, if your order is via a paper-based prescription, this may take longer. It usually takes 2 to 3 days to deliver your medication.

We will ask if you pay for your prescriptions when you register with us. If you do have to pay for your prescriptions, we will contact you by phone to collect payment after you have placed your order.

We use special multi-award-winning insulated packaging that exceeds guidelines for refrigerated pharmaceutical products so we can safely dispense your medication by post. The packaging uses sustainable, compostable, recyclable or recycled materials.
